What is MT5 ML Strategy Assistant?

An intelligent MetaTrader 5 trading assistant that combines Machine Learning predictions with Technical Analysis to generate BUY, SELL, and HOLD recommendations. It connects directly to a locally installed MetaTrader 5 terminal, retrieves live candlestick data, analyzes multiple financial instruments, and can automatically execute market orders when enabled.

Live MT5 Integration

Connects directly to your MetaTrader 5 terminal, detects the logged-in account, and reads live OHLCV candlestick data for any instrument in Market Watch.

Machine Learning Signals

Generates BUY/SELL/HOLD recommendations with confidence score, BUY/SELL/HOLD probabilities, and overall trade bias for every instrument scanned.

Technical Analysis

Current strategy: configurable SMA Crossover (Fast/Slow). Future strategies planned include EMA, RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands, ATR, Support & Resistance, and AI ensemble models.

Multi-Instrument Scanner

Scan up to 96 instruments simultaneously across Forex, Indices, Stocks, Commodities, Metals, and Crypto, with filters for spread, symbol count, and Forex-only mode.

Auto Trading

Automatically places market orders based on the highest-confidence signals, with duplicate/opposite position skipping and high-spread symbol filtering.

Risk Management

Stop Loss, Take Profit, slippage control, profit/loss targets, max open trades, spread filtering, ATR-based SL/TP, and broker minimum stop distance validation.

Support & Resistance Profit Monitor

Optional automated trade management: detects S/R levels, trails Stop Loss, extends Take Profit after breakouts, locks in profits, and closes trades near key levels (M15 default).

Live Refresh

Continuously updates from MT5 with configurable refresh intervals — 15s, 30s, 60s, or a custom interval of your choice.

Market Execution

Orders are sent directly through the MetaTrader 5 Python API (BUY/SELL Market), showing entry price, SL, TP, slippage, and a risk confirmation before execution.

Sample AI Recommendations

Every scanned instrument gets a live recommendation with a confidence score:

Instrument Recommendation Confidence
EURUSDHOLD92.7%
EURRUBSELL95.0%
NZDMXNSELL53.4%

Safety Features & Troubleshooting

  • Spread filtering & confidence threshold
  • Position limits and maximum trades
  • ATR-based stop loss & take profit suggestions
  • Broker minimum stop distance validation
  • Optional manual confirmation before order execution

Open MetaTrader 5, press Ctrl + M to open Market Watch, add the instrument, and make sure you use the exact symbol name supplied by your broker (symbol names vary — e.g. EURUSD, EURUSD.a, or EURUSDm).

Verify that MetaTrader 5 is open, you are logged into an account, Algo Trading is enabled if live trading is required, and the MetaTrader5 Python package is installed.

Auto Trading stays disabled if live trading isn't permitted by the server, the risk confirmation checkbox hasn't been selected, the recommendation is HOLD, or MT5 is disconnected.

Known Limitations

  • Requires MetaTrader 5 running on the same Windows computer.
  • Only symbols visible in MT5 Market Watch can be analyzed.
  • Symbol names vary between brokers (e.g. EURUSD, EURUSD.a, EURUSDm).
  • Internet connectivity is required for live market data.
  • Cryptocurrency and CFD availability depends on the broker.
